We have lots of great volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Check back frequently for new opportunities!
- Traverse City Artist Talk (Variety of Roles)
Act as a host or greeter, volunteer to bake treats, and more on Artist Talk days.
- Traverse City Family Drop-In Art Assistant
Assist the Drop-In Art Instructor! Help set up and monitor the Drop-In Art project under the guidance of the instructor.
- Crooked Tree Art Fair - July 25, 2026
Join us as a volunteer for the 65th Annual Crooked Tree Art Fair on Saturday, July 25 at the Civic Center!
We’re excited to debut a new location this year—enter through South Civic Center Drive off of Titus, take a right after the walking path, and you’ll find us near the basketball courts and playground.Help us welcome artists from across the country and be part of this beloved community tradition. Volunteer opportunities include greeting guests at the Crooked Tree hospitality tent, assisting in the kids art tent, booth sitting, and even riding a golf cart.

Volunteer at the Suttons Bay Art Festival 2026
Join us for the annual Suttons Bay Art Festival, set along the beautiful Suttons Bay Marina on the first weekend of August. This beloved community event is a wonderful way to get involved, meet people, and support the arts in Northern Michigan.
Festival Hours:
Saturday, August 1 | 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
