Crooked Tree Arts Center – Petoskey was founded in 1971 and is located in a historic former church in Petoskey’s Downtown Gaslight District. The location features four galleries, a theater, a dance studio, classrooms, a culinary arts kitchen, and more. We offer a wide range of arts classes, exhibitions, and cultural programs serving the Petoskey community and surrounding areas for all ages.

Most events are open to the public, though some may require advance registration or tickets. Details are listed with each event.
- Can I use your studio space without signing up for a class?
At the current moment, we do not allow drop-in use of our studio spaces outside of our scheduled Saturday Open Studio. If you are an artist interested in utilizing our studio to further your work outside of a classroom atmosphere, we do offer our Kitchen Painters artist group that meets Thursdays from noon to 3:00 PM. They welcome artists of all levels, across all painting mediums.
