Join us on Saturday, January 22 from 2:00-4:00pm as we open our annual Artist Guild Member Salon Show and the Traverse Area Camera Club Competition Show. The Artist Guild Member Salon Show is an annual favorite that fills CTAC's galleries with artwork by CTAC Artist Guild Members. The show occurs once each year, alternating locations between CTAC's Traverse City and Petoskey campuses. The Artist Guild membership is designed for visual artists working in all media, and is one way CTAC provides professional support for working artists.
The Traverse Area Camera Club (TACC) Competition Show is a recurring exhibition highlighting award-winning photographs produced by its members. Each year, club members are encouraged to share recent work for review by their peers. Members vote to select the top pieces as prize winners. Photographs at novice, intermediate, and advanced levels are recognized. This display features those works.
To control the spread of COVID-19 in our community and based on the advisory from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, face masks are required and appreciated for guests over age 2, regardless of vaccination status. We regret that we are unable to serve food and beverages at this event.
