Crooked Tree Arts Center - Petoskey is currently looking for a full-time Development and Events Coordinator to support fundraising, membership growth, and community engagement efforts. Reporting to the Development and Events Manager, this role oversees the planning, coordination, promotion, and execution of a wide range of arts and fundraising events, while also providing administrative support to the development team and serving as liaison to facility renters.

Crooked Tree Arts Center – Petoskey is now accepting proposals for Summer Camp Workshop Teachers. We’re seeking enthusiastic, creative instructors to lead one-week, age-appropriate arts workshops for students in grades K–3 or 4–6. Teaching artists may apply for one or multiple weeks throughout the summer season (June–August). Join us in creating engaging, inclusive, and inspiring arts experiences for young learners. A Figure Model will pose (clothed and/or nude) for art classes such as Figure Drawing and Long Pose Studio. Models will hold various poses, including quick gesture, action, and extended resting poses with breaks throughout the class.

• Ability to hold a still standing pose for up to 15 minutes or reclining/seated poses for 30 minutes.
• Knowledge or experience with figure modeling is preferred

The Marketing Intern will assist the administrative office with all aspects of Crooked Tree Arts Center's administration operations, with a focus on marketing, communications, and social media. The intern will have the opportunity to shadow CTAC marketing staff, gaining insight into the real work of arts nonprofits. Additional opportunities may be added based on the intern's skill set and interests. Duties include but not limited to the following:

Marketing & Communications

• Design and distribute posters/flyers around the community as needed for various events and programming
• Update online community calendars and chamber newsletters with upcoming events
• Brainstorm, plan, and create social media content; manage social media calendar
• Take photos and videos as needed for variety of content creation purposes
• Draft weekly newsletter and dedicated newsletters as needed

Administrative

• Assist with a variety of database management activities
• Assist with essential administrative functions
• Staff the front desk during office hours and some evening events.
• Assist various CTAC departments with tasks as needed

Skills Needed:  

• Technical skills in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite product
• Graphic design skills and experience in Canva and/or Adobe Suite ideal
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail  
• Commitment to nonprofits and the mission of CTAC
• Self-discipline and time-management skills needed to work independently  
• Dependable and punctual team player  
• Good verbal and written communication skills  
• Ability to work with the public in a professional manner 
• Moderate experience working with social-media platforms 

Skills Gained Include:  

• Overall knowledge of nonprofit management and administration  
• In-depth understanding of marketing and communications

The Visual Arts Studio intern will assist with summer youth programs and studio maintenance. In addition to these regular tasks, the intern will also have the opportunity to shadow CTAC visual arts staff operations, including curatorial planning, exhibition installations, and classroom instruction. Additional opportunities may be added based on the intern's skill set and interests. Duties may include:

Studio, Gallery & Education 

• Assisting instructors with classroom preparation and instruction
• Prepare and organize materials for class 
• Maintain and clean studio spaces
• Supervise students during snack time
• Organize and inventory art supplies
• Assist with inventory management and upkeep of gallery spaces

Administrative

• Assist with a variety of database management activities including data entry
• Support essential administrative functions
• Staff the front desk during office hours and some evening events.
• Assist various CTAC departments with tasks as needed

Skills Needed:  

• Experience working with youth - preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail  
• Commitment to nonprofits and the mission of CTAC
• Self-discipline and time-management skills needed to work independently  
• Dependable and punctual team player  
• Good verbal and written communication skills  
• Ability to work with the public in a professional manner

• Assist with a variety of functions including but not limited to event planning, silent auction preparation, attendee management through OneCause software program.
• Assist with planning Giving Circle events

Administrative

• Assist with a variety of database management activities
• Assist with essential administrative functions
• Staff the front desk during office hours and some evening events.
• Assist various CTAC departments with tasks as needed

Skills Needed:
