    Description

Entangled is a solo exhibition of original print work by Traverse City artist Dorothy Anderson Grow. A printmaker working primarily in intaglio, Grow creates nuanced and multifaceted images that emerge from the picture plane to exist in all three dimensions. The work is a celebration of process, color, line, and texture, reflecting the artist's interest in the formalism and abstraction of the mid-1900s. Through repeated formal elements and play with symmetry, Grow's work is somehow both familiar and unknown, encouraging the viewer to follow visual pathways into new something new and unexpected.
