    Description

This encouraging class will help you develop a daily sketch practice through urban sketching while building your drawing foundation. Drawing is a skill that creates the foundation for all 2-D art. In addition to building a drawing foundation, Richie will introduce watercolor as a way to incorporate a wash for shading and an underpainting. Specific exercises will teach you to express yourself and capture the world around you.  All levels are welcome. Bring a sketchbook and pen/pencil to the first class. Sketchbook paper should be heavy enough to apply a light watercolor wash.

Please read the winter weather cancellation policy.  If class is cancelled due to weather we will hold a make up class March 21.
