Over 100 artists and artisans from across the country will be on hand, displaying and selling pieces in a variety of media, including paintings and other 2-D art, jewelry, fibers, glass, pottery, metalwork, and much more.
Parking and admission are free! Food is available for purchase, including salads, tacos, teriyaki bowls, and classic American favorites. Starbucks coffee drinks are also available.
DA SISTA HOOD
Da Sista Hood is a mother and daughter duo from Leelanau County who have been singing and playing music together for several years. They find their way around the guitar, ukulele, and the banjuke, and sing with the sweet harmonies of voices from the same family. Laura and Jessie Hood perform a collection of folk music with an indie/pop flair and a few originals thrown in. Their music has a message of positive energy, love and friendship.
THE 2 UKES
Bryan Boettcher and Michael Libby perform together as The 2 Ukes. They have been seen at various festivals, wineries, and art openings in Northern Michigan and are also founding members of TC’s very own ukulele group STRUM – The Society of Traverse Region Ukulele Musicians. Their repertoire includes folk, rock, jazz, kid songs, and some music you never thought you would hear played on the ukulele.
Royce Deans is an artist who divides his time between painting, teaching classes from his Traverse City studio, and leading his international ArtisTTable art retreats in Europe, the US, and beyond. His work derives from nature, and always centers on form and compositional structure. Royce has lived in Traverse City for 28 years and is a graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago.
Mica M. Harrison is a practicing fiber artist with a studio in Interlochen, MI. Her work has recently been displayed at CTAC-TC and Higher Art Gallery. Mica also works with Parallel 45 Theatre and Traverse City Dance Project as a costume designer, at Interlochen Center for the Arts in the Office of Admission, and serves on the CTAC-TC Programming Committee. Christie Minervini has a degree in Art from the University of Iowa. As owner of Sanctuary Handcrafted Goods (formerly Gallery Fifty) since 2004, she has mounted over 80 fine art exhibitions and has shown the work of hundreds of regional artists. She is the incoming Chair of the Traverse City Arts Commission, and is passionate about supporting and promoting the arts.
