Live Music

DA SISTA HOOD
11:00 am-NOON
Da Sista Hood is a mother and daughter duo from Leelanau County who have been singing and playing music together for several years. They find their way around the guitar, ukulele, and the banjuke, and sing with the sweet harmonies of voices from the same family. Laura and Jessie Hood perform a collection of folk music with an indie/pop flair and a few originals thrown in. Their music has a message of positive energy, love and friendship.

THE 2 UKES
1:00-2:00pm
Bryan Boettcher and Michael Libby perform together as The 2 Ukes. They have been seen at various festivals, wineries, and art openings in Northern Michigan and are also founding members of TC’s very own ukulele group STRUM – The Society of Traverse Region Ukulele Musicians. Their repertoire includes folk, rock, jazz, kid songs, and some music you never thought you would hear played on the ukulele.
