Participation Details for Teachers
This opportunity is open to young artists (grades K-12) working throughout the Char-Em ISD region. Original works of art are showcased in CTAC's Gilbert and Bonfield Galleries. Participation is organized by the art teacher.
Intent to Participate (for teachers)
If you are a Char-Em area art educator (including, public, homeschool, private, or independent school teachers), and would like to participate in the 2026 Youth Art Show, please see the key information below.

KEY DATES:
- Exhibition Dates: March 17 - May 2, 2026
- Artwork Delivery and Installation: Sunday, March 8 through Saturday, March 14, 2026, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Contact Alissa if you have trouble with scheduling. alissa@crookedtree.org
- All artwork must be labeled with Student Name, School, and Grade. Titles are optional.
- There are no specific display requirements. Space allotted will depend on participation. Works will be push pinned to the wall (painter's tape does not hold). Pushpins will be provided.
- CTAC has two ladders for shared use. You may wish to bring your own step ladder and hammer so that you do not need to wait. You may also bring your own helper.
- Opening Reception: Saturday, March 21, 2026, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Awards Ceremony: Thursday, April 16, 2026, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
- Artwork Pick-up: Tuesday, May 5 - Friday, May 8, 2026, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Other pick-up times may be arranged if needed.
