Description

The Crooked Tree Community Orchestras, along with students from the CTAC Strings Program, will be performing on the CTAC stage.  This year’s Winter Concert will also feature a performance by the Crooked Tree Garage Band, who will then join forces with the Crooked Tree Chamber Orchestra to present three rock songs featuring a string orchestra.  Don’t miss out on this unique musical experience!

Kevin Richardson, Music Education Director, joined the staff at CTAC in October 2014 as Assistant Director for the Beginning Strings and Youth Orchestra Programs. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a specialization in instrumental education. He was promoted to Director of the School of Music in 2017. He currently teaches all CTAC School of Music classes, including ukulele, strings, jazz, rock, and the Youth Orchestra programs. He plays bass in local jazz trio, The Dust Bowl Aristocrats, alongside clarinetist Doug Beauchamp and guitarist Owen James.
