Coffee @ 10 with Great Lakes Festival of Shorts (In-Person and Online)

Kris Rasmussen is an educator, playwright, and freelance writer from Petoskey, Michigan. Her plays have been produced by professional regional theaters including the Forward Theater Company in Madison and Group Rep in Los Angeles. She was selected by City Theatre of Miami as a 2020 finalist in their annual playwriting competition. Her work has also published in anthologies by Lillenas Drama and Smith & Kraus as part of their “Best of…” series. 

In 2019 she started the Great Lakes Festival of Shorts as a way to showcase new playwrights from the Great Lakes region while introducing the area to a fresh theater format.

For this Coffee @ 10, Kris Rasmussen will talk about her nonprofit Great Lakes Festival of Shorts. This live event will include a 10-minute play.
