Description

Susan's three hour workshop is for both beginners and intermediate painters.  "We will be looking at materials and how to set up for a smoother transition between seeing and creating."  The discussion on tools and supplies will create a greater clarity on all the possibilities of paint application unique to watercolor.  In using a limited palette, you will study the techniques of laying transparent glazes, negative painting, spattering, salt and various texture techniques, creating more depth in your paintings. You will discover the importance of shapes and color blending, as well as the importance of your own thought and breath.

We will cover landscapes including beaches, water, rivers, trees, rocks, sky and clouds.

Two small paintings are created during the workshop.

All materials are included!

We will offer a prorated credit (never expires) or refund for two weeks of your missed class for all cancellations due to suspected COVID-19 infection and/or exposure.
