Petoskey FAQ

Do you offer parking?

We do not offer parking, although there is available street parking managed by the City of Petoskey. Meter parking is available on Division, Lake, Mitchell, and Waukazoo streets, while free parking can be found a few streets over in the more residential areas including Woodland Avenue and Williams Street.

Are there public transporation options for visiting CTAC - Petoskey?

While Emmet County does not provide its own public transportation, there are a number of local and regional options available. More information

Is your arts center accessible?

Yes, aside from our School of Ballet 316 E. Mitchell St. studio, our buildings are wheelchair accessible and we strive to accommodate all visitors. Contact us with any specific questions at (231) 347-4337. Take a virtual tour of our property via Able Eyes

What populations do you serve?

While everyone is welcome to visit our galleries and participate in our programs, we primarily serve residents across five counties, including communities such as Harbor Springs, Alanson, Charlevoix, Boyne City, East Jordan, Cheboygan, and other nearby areas.

Can I use your studio space without signing up for a class?

At the current moment, we do not allow drop-in use of our studio spaces outside of our scheduled Saturday Open Studio, which is a loosely guided, family-friendly arts activity program. If you are an artist interested in utilizing our studio to further your work outside of a classroom atmosphere, we do offer our Kitchen Painters artist group that meets Thursdays from noon to 3:00 PM. They welcome artists of all levels, across all painting mediums.

We are looking for a venue for our wedding - do you do event rentals?

We do not rent our space for personal use such as weddings at this time.
