Steve Fritz started his business as a commercial artist with the help of his mentor, Charles Forman, and found his niche in architectural illustration. He has worked on many local and national projects, as well as projects abroad from the Far East, Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. He has diverse styles, from simple sketches to detailed renderings, from significant developments to single-family homes. Steve's work is mainly in private collections
Besides the architectural work, he is also a painter. Working in multiple media but of late pastel and watercolor. Steve enjoys working on landscapes outdoors and in his studio. He likes all subject matter but lately has focused on figurative work. He also likes working with wood and remodeling.
He has two beautiful children who have blessed him with three wonderful grandsons. With a deep love of the outdoors, he enjoys sharing those experiences with his family, friends, and golden retriever Cooper. You may find him walking the trails in Northern Michigan.
“I love art and expressing what I see onto paper or canvas, whether in the studio or from life. Sometimes on my walks/hikes, I challenge myself to sketch a scene in pencil or watercolor in a short time. To focus on what matters and what doesn't. I like sharing those thoughts and being open to new ideas and opportunities from others. Always learning as an artist, but the best teacher is just doing.”
