My 45th Parallel Lives explores the landscapes and agricultural traditions of two places the artist calls home: Northern Michigan and Southwest France. Both located along the 45th Parallel, these regions share vineyards, lavender fields, and a deep connection to the land, while offering distinctly different climates and scenery. Through paintings of flowers, fruit, countryside vistas, and Great Lakes landscapes, the exhibition celebrates the beauty, resilience, and seasonal rhythms that unite these two remarkable regions.
