"Confined Aquifer " is a sizable but restful piece celebrating the underground waterways that provide hydration to those on the surface. Confined Aquifers are those that are both beneath and between deep impermeable rock layers and are relatively smaller than other aquifers. This painting is what I imagine the confined aquifers in this region might look like. These flowing and contained waters, smallish lakes and rivers of clean water stay put until punctured for a well, so confined aquifers are very much vessels of and for pristine water--Holding and delivering water from beneath to above.
