Container
Container explores the many meanings of containment through both sculptural and two-dimensional works. While vessels, pottery, and functional forms serve as familiar examples of containers, this exhibition expands the idea beyond the physical, inviting viewers to consider what we hold, protect, preserve, and carry. From literal interpretations to abstract explorations, the works on view reveal containers as objects of utility, symbols of identity, memory, culture, and transformation.
Featuring ceramics, sculpture, painting, photography, fiber, mixed media, and more, Container showcases the diverse ways artists interpret the relationship between interior and exterior, fullness and emptiness, function and symbolism. Together, these works encourage us to reflect on the visible and invisible vessels that shape our lives and experiences.
