Preview Nights and Opening Receptions at Crooked Tree Arts Center - Petoskey

 

Crooked Tree Arts Center hosts a variety of receptions to celebrate our exhibitions, both ticketed and free. From our Vernissage and Swirl events, to closing receptions, artist meets & greets, and more, we offer a blend of local flavor, creativity, and community as well as a chance to get to know some of the artists in our galleries. Held throughout the year, our reception events invite guests to enjoy complimentary bites and refreshments. All set against the backdrop of our current art exhibitions.

    Join us in celebrating the artwork created by student artists working across the Char-Em ISD, Kindergarten through Grade 12, during the annual Youth Arts Show Opening Reception. Both our Gilbert and Bonfield Galleries will be covered from floor to ceiling with beautiful, unique works of art from our local students.

    On Saturday, March 21, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, the public is invited to view the exhibit and enjoy punch and cookies!

    Please join us as we honor and celebrate the 2026 Youth Arts Awards honorees and winners on Thursday, April 16 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

    This event will recognize the honorees and winners from the Youth Arts Show and the Youth Arts College Scholarships, as well as celebrate the accomplishments of CTAC School of Ballet students. Award-winning artists will be notified by their teacher one week prior to the ceremony.

    Please join us for cake and refreshments after the awards ceremony.
