Biography
Logan Hudson is a representational artist working in Northern Michigan. His work consists primarily of oil paintings and drawings of the Midwestern landscape and people. Hudson finds beauty in the simple and seemingly ever evolving elements of this region. To Him, painting is a documentation of his search for truth in the landscape. It’s not about what the artist has to bring to the work as much as it is about what the Subject has to share. His aim is to use the skills acquired then step aside for the subject to tell the story. Much of his work is painted directly from life, trusting the way our eyes perceive the world around us.
