Artist Bio: A Petoskey based artist, Kevin is celebrating a 30 year career in the arts this year. His work is widely known and collected throughout Michigan. While a celebrated regional artist, his work hangs in collections across the country and have garnered national recognition and awards.
Artistic Style: While working on location in child once quipped, “your painting looks just like it, but it doesn’t!” Indeed I capture scenes many are familiar with, yet I strive to engage the viewers imaginative with the style. An interpretation rather than recording hallmarks of which are bold colors of thick strokes with an eye towards some detail unusual to that type of approach.
