About Nadia Daniels-Moehle:
Born at the turn of the century, Nadia Daniels-Moehle grew up in Northern Michigan. Nadia believes that through art, story, and education, the world can transform. In 2010, together with her family, she founded The Books For Walls Project (BFWP), which supports literacy, libraries, and the love of books. In June of 2018, Nadia launched CognEYEzant, a 365-day art project of original art and essays featuring eyes every day for a year. in 2019, she and her younger sister Sonja, transformed BFWP into the official non-profit Look Wonder Discover with the mission "cultivating curiosity: researching and creating content supporting literacy, learning, creativity, and contemplation." Since she was small, Nadia has helped to create and facilitate community art projects, workshops, and classes for art centers, festivals, and non-profits. Nadia currently teaches art at Crooked Tree Arts Center-Traverse City, serves as an advisory board member for Grace Community Birth Center in Haiti, and works as the Youth Arts Leader for Arts For All Northern Michigan.
