Dorothy Gerber Strings Program

The Gerber Strings Program offers students in Alanson, Beaver Island, Boyne City, Boyne Falls, Charlevoix, East Jordan, Ellsworth, Harbor Springs, Pellston, & Petoskey the opportunity to study the art of learning the violin, viola, cello, or string bass.

The strings program is offered at two levels: Beginning Strings & Intermediate Strings.  The beginning level for students with no experience playing a string instrument and the intermediate level for students that participated in the beginning level class or have at least some prior experience playing a string instrument and reading music.  There is no tuition cost for either these classes. The strings program is designed to prepare students to later become involved in the Crooked Tree Youth Orchestra program and continue their study of orchestral music.
