School of Ballet

Founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Heather Raue, the CTAC School of Ballet trains young people for professional careers in dance. The School of Ballet has a long legacy of outstanding training in ballet as well as serious contemporary styles and the emerging field of dance film. Former students have danced professionally in major American companies, attended prestigious BFA and MFA programs and excelled in other dance-related careers.

Registration for our Winter/Spring Session is now open!

  • January 12 - June 13 (20 weeks)
  • This session concludes  in an original, full length ballet, June 12  and 13. 
  • No classes over the following breaks: 
    • Mid-winter Break: Monday, February 16 - Saturday, February 21

Tuition Assistance for Youth Classes

Students aged 17 and under are eligible to apply for tuition assistance scholarships for music, art, and dance classes at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Qualified applicants may receive up to 80% of class tuition fees covered.

    Details

    SNAM began in the spring of 2023 as Pre-professional dancer Claire Winnell’s Eagle Scout project. SNAM introduces dance to the special needs community and students will learn ballet, ballroom and partner dance techniques. This session concludes with the annual “Arts are for Everyone” showcase.

    Winter/Spring Session: February 16 - May 18 (12 weeks)
