Spencer Meagher is back for this three-day intensive workshop for beginning and intermediate painters.
Over three afternoons, Spencer will cover key fundamentals for working with watercolor. Discover (or review) concepts like value, saturation, and the color wheel. Develop skills in color mixing and controlling opacity. Explore the watercolor materials including the paint, paper, brushes, and other must-haves for this fun, approachable, and robust medium.
In the first two classes, students should expect to do studies and exercises that will help them build (or master) skills in managing watercolor. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of useful color charts to work from, as well as a completed painting.
Spencer's approach to teaching is warm and supportive. Students will work hard in a fun and friendly online learning environment.
