    Youth Art Exhibit 2021 Traverse City
    Description

    Crooked Tree Arts Center is hosting the annual Youth Arts Exhibit, virtually.  The deadline to submit photos is February 28, 2021 

    • Art work will be displayed in a virtual gallery April 1-30, 2021. 
    • High School art will be juried and eligible for awards. 
    • Art selected for an award will be on display at Crooked Tree Arts Center in Traverse City April 1- April 17.

    Open to students living in or attending school in the following school districts: Benzie, Buckley, Crawford/Cadillac, Elk Rapids, Forest Area, Frankfort-Elberta, Glen Lake, Kalkaska, Kingsley, Leland, Mancelona, Northport, Suttons Bay or Traverse City.

    Art teachers, home school parents, parents of students attending school virtually or attending a school without a dedicated art teacher are encouraged to submit a photo of a piece of art created in the 2020-2021 school year.  Submission procedure is outlined below.

    If your student attends a school please verify that your art teacher has not already or is planning to submit a photo of your students work.  One submission per student K-8 grade and up to five submissions for students 9-12 grade.

    Elementary and Middle School students/teachers/parents may submit up to:

    One artwork per student; 2D art- one image of artwork; 3D art up to two images of artwork

    Digital requirements include

    • Cropped, High resolution image
    • Named as the following: School/Home School, Title, Student name, Grade, Medium, Dimensions (optional), Teacher 

    example:  Willow Hill Elementary (TCAPS), Morning Sky, Susie Smith, grade-2, watercolor on paper, 8"x10", Gang

     


    High School students/teachers may submit:

    1-5 pieces of art per student; 2D art- one image per artwork; 3D art- up to two images of artwork.

     

    Digital requirements include

    • Cropped, High resolution image
    • Named as the following: School, Title, Student name, Grade, Medium, Dimensions, Teacher
