ORIGINAL, a juried printmaking exhibition, will be presented at Crooked Tree Arts Center - Traverse City from September 7 - November 14, 2019. All forms of printmaking by artists working across the United States are eligible to enter. Works must be original. The opening reception will be on Saturday, September 7, from 2-4 p.m. The entry deadline is July 29, 2019.

  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than:  August 1, 2019
  • Accepted work to be delivered to Crooked Tree Arts Center - Traverse City: August 23-30, 2019, during posted gallery hours
  • Opening Reception: Saturday, September 7, 2019, 2-4 p.m.
  • Exhibit Dates: September 7 - November 14, 2019
  • Pick-up/Return of unsold artwork: November 18-22, 2019, during posted gallery hours

ORIGINAL, a juried printmaking exhibition, is open to all U.S. residents, and to members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center regardless of where they reside. Applicants must be 18 years or older.


Selections for exhibit will be made by CTAC Galleries Director Liz Erlewine. Liz Erlewine holds a BFA in printmaking, painting, and drawing from the University of Michigan, and an MFA from Purdue University. Prior to her current position, Erlewine served as Galleries Director for Purdue University. Erlewine has curated and organized numerous exhibitions over the past decade. She is passionate about building creative and compassionate communities through the arts.
