    CTAC Holiday Bazaar
    Description

    Founded in 1971, the mission of the Crooked Tree Arts Center is to inspire and enrich lives through the arts. CTAC offers exhibits, concerts, classes, lectures, special events, and much more out of locations in both Traverse City and Petoskey.

    Crooked Tree Arts Center’s 2025 Holiday Bazaar is a showcase of original art available for purchase during the winter holiday shopping season. The juried exhibition will be installed and available for sale in the CTAC galleries. Artwork displays will be set up by CTAC’s Visual Arts staff.

    Exhibition Dates: Friday, November 14, 2025- December 18, 2025

    APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 29, 2025

    Artists will be notified by October 6, 2025

    Notification of acceptance via email: October 7, 2025

    Drop-off: October 29 - November 4, 2025

    Pick-up: January 3 - January 8, 2025

    Requirements

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must be a US resident
    • Must submit a minimum of 10 images of items representative of the work that will be exhibited
    • Must include price points
    • 2D and 3D work accepted
    • All media are eligible

     

    APPLICATION FEE

    • $15 non-refundable fee.
    • CTAC Artist Guild Members will receive an emailed coupon code to waive the application fee. This coupon CANNOT be applied retroactively. All application fees are non-refundable. CTAC Artist Guild Members can contact Sheila Ruen at sheila@crookedtree.org if they have not received a coupon code.

     

    SIZE RESTRICTIONS

    • Work intended to be displayed on the wall must be framed and ready to hang with hanging wire. Unframed works can be sold if presented in protective sleeves. Please do not exceed 36” in a single dimension.
    • 3D work intended to be displayed on a flat surface must be freestanding. Please do not exceed a maximum weight of 15 pounds.

     

    PARTICIPATION

    Selected applicants will be notified via email by October 5, 2025, and must accept the invitation by October 13, 2025.

    CTAC staff will work with selected applicants to determine the appropriate quantity of inventory for inclusion and display.

    • Unsold work must be picked up by January 8. If the unsold work is not picked up by January 8, or for which no appropriate shipping containers and prepaid shipping labels were provided, the unsold work will become the property of Crooked Tree Arts Center.
