    DESCRIPTION

All current CTAC Guild Members are invited to participate in this annual salon style exhibition, on view in the Gilbert and Bonfield Galleries, between January 16, and February 22, 2025, in Petoskey. We expect to present over 300 works from our Guild Members. The opening reception will be on Saturday, January 18, 3-5 pm.

    DETAILS

    • Guild members may submit a maximum of three 2D, 3D, or video works.
    • 2D works must not exceed a maximum dimension of 36" in any direction, including framing, and must be prepared with picture wire for installation (no claws or hooks).
    • We have a variety of pedestal sizes for 3D works. However, if the base of your 3D work is larger than 20 x 20 inches and requires a pedestal, and/or if your 3D work requires special installation, please reach out to Sheila with the dimensions, and/or special installation needs to make sure that we can accommodate your work (we will do our best!).
    • Video works must not exceed 2 minute durations, and must be resized to fit 1920 x 1080.
    • Due to the large number of works, we can not guarantee transportation between our Traverse City and Petoskey locations, and must be strict about the number and sizes of works, as well as installation hardware requirements and deadlines. However, if you are interested in carpooling artworks between locations, please reach out to Brian by December 13, 2024 (brian@crookedtree.org).
    • If you have any questions, reach out to Sheila at sheila@crookedtree.org.

For Guild Artists Outside the Petoskey Region Interested in Carpooling Artwork:

Must confirm participation in carpool by December 13 with brian@crookedtree.org

    Once confirmed:

Please bring your safely wrapped artworks (ie: bubble wrapped, protected by cardboard, boxed, etc) to Crooked Tree Arts Center Traverse City during the following times:

    • Monday–Friday, December 16–20: 9 AM–5 PM
    • Saturday, December 21: 10 AM–4 PM

    Important Notes:

    • All artwork needs to be prepped for transportation (bubble wrapped, boxed, etc.)
    • Bubble bags and other protective materials will be available for purchase for artworks that arrive without adequate wrapping.
    • All artwork must be wired for hanging—this is mandatory. A self-serve wiring station (donation-based) will be available during drop-off for any artwork that needs wiring.
    • Size limitations for artwork will be enforced. Any pieces exceeding the size limit cannot be accepted due to space constraints and fairness.
