Katie is a fine art acrylic painter. Katie’s artwork is all about passion, whether it be people, places, or the allure of nature. Katie’s artwork captures those moments in life that leave us breathless. To accomplish this, she uses a gentle, unhurried process of infusing texture and layers of eye-catching vibrant colors to provide her viewers with an emotional experience in a meaningful way. Katie’s medium of choice is acrylic paint, as she enjoys working with its buttery properties. Katie has been honoring her journey as an artist since 2019; since then, her portfolio of works has grown to over 180 pieces, including many secured commissions. Katie is currently living her passion in northern Michigan. Currently accepting commissions ~

This piece had many transformations, but kept showing itself as an elephant. For those that know my story of becoming an artist, this piece is spiritually significant. When an elephant shows itself to you, it symbolizes patience, wisdom, sensitivity, loyalty, and strength (hence the "rising"). Life's journey can be humbling, but the "rise" is worth it
