Artist Profile

Janet Oliver and Ken Thomas met late in life and found in each other the perfect muse. They are both artists and have joined their separate studios into one, Oliver Thomas Studio. They each have unique styles, but we both categorize ourselves as expressive realists, capturing the world we live in using a variety of media: oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed-media. Our subjects range from people and pets to landscapes and subjects in nature. 

Ken also does animation and 3D work, both functional and artistic pieces. Janet also teaches, primarily watercolor media, around the Traverse City region and in Florida (Homosassa Springs) during the winter.
