Artist Profile

 

I create art with awareness that we are all interconnected. Art is a powerful healing tool for both the creator and the viewer, involving emotional processing, cognitive stimulation, and stress reduction. As an interdisciplinary artist and mental health therapist, I merge art and healing through a journey of exploring materials while allowing the flow of creative life force energy to externalize onto the canvas. My current focus is abstract, experimental, and meditative art often involving textures and layers with a variety of mediums including natural pigments, soy based paint, pour paint, spray paint, acrylics, metal leafing, grass, feathers, flowers, leaves, and other gifts from nature.
