Colleen Shull works observationally and from memory in a variety of media including painting, drawing + collage. She holds a MFA in Studio Art from Meadows School of Art at Southern Methodist University, Dallas and a BFA in painting with a dual major in Art History and Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute, she also is a graduate of the inaugural class of the South Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville, S.C. Her work is in private collections across the country. She has shown her work in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, greater New York, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Michigan and South Carolina. She has recently received Rigsby Travel grants to France and New York as well as a full tuition MFA scholarship. Colleen also teaches as a summer Instructor of Visual Arts, Figure Drawing and Painting at Interlochen Arts Camp and has experience working with pre-K through college students and senior citizen centers and looks forward to working with new students to develop their artistic skills.
