Celebrating the arrival of 2008, was the first year for this event, and it included collaborations with Blissfest Music Organization, Little Traverse Civic Theatre, Petoskey Public Library and the YMCA.  The evening ended with a Times-Square style ball drop on Division Street sponsored and created by Tom Moran and Moran Iron Works.

The 2008 artwork concept was by CTAC art students, Erica Syverson and Zoe Faylor.  The artwork was created by Zoe Faylor.
