Directions to the Crooked Tree Arts Center
DIRECTIONS TO CROOKED TREE ARTS CENTER From the Southeast side of Michigan (Detroit, Ann Arbor, Saginaw) 1. Take I-75 North to the 2nd Gaylord exit. 2. Take M-32 West to US-131, about 13 miles. 3. Turn North on US-131 to Petoskey, about 23 miles. US-131 becomes Mitchell Street at the intersection of 131 & 31. 4. Mitchell Street curves to the right, past the hospital & through another traffic light. 5. Travel across the Mitchell Street Bridge & take a right at the next traffic light to the downtown area. 6. Go through the traffic lights at Petoskey & Howard Streets. 7. The Arts Center is on the left at the next corner (Mitchell & Division Streets). Enter on Division Street. Loading in and out can be done behind the building. From southwest Michigan (Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, etc.) 1. Take US-131 North to Petoskey. 2. Mitchell Street begins at the intersection of US-131 and US-31. 3. Stay on Mitchell Street & go through the traffic light at that intersection. 4. Mitchell Street curves to the right, past the hospital & through another traffic light. 5. Travel across the Mitchell Street Bridge & take a right at the next traffic light to the downtown area. 6. Go through the traffic lights at Petoskey & Howard Streets. 7. The Arts Center is on the left at the next corner (Mitchell & Division Streets). Enter on Division Street. Loading in and out can be done behind the building. From the North (Sault Ste Marie, St. Ignace, etc.) 1. Take I-75 south, exiting at St. Ignace to US-31 South. 2. Stay on US-31, past the McDonalds and the golf course and through Bay View. 3. Pass through the traffic light at the Oleson’s grocery store. 4. US-31 takes you by Little Traverse Bay (on your right). 5. At the next traffic light (Lake Street), turn left. 6. Go three blocks, through the stop sign at Petoskey Street, the traffic light at Howard Street and then turn right on Division Street. 7. The Crooked Tree Arts Center is on your right and the entrance is on the Division Street side of the building. Also check the Driving Directions at either Yahoo.com or Expedia.com
